The HP plant shutdown at the Gunvor refinery in Ingolstadt posed a particular challenge for WWV: the maintenance, repair and integration work was to be completed in a shutdown phase lasting only 10 days. At peak times, 416 employees were deployed for this. Within the scope of the sometimes complex work, several columns were replaced and repair work on the FCC plant was planned and carried out under the leadership of the specialists for FCC & furnaces from WWV in Deggendorf.
On the basis of our work, the capacity of the regional district heating supply could be expanded in cooperation with the Ingolstadt public utilities – a significant contribution to improving the energy balance in the region.
Outstanding personal commitment is a constant feature of our work. Even after particularly strenuous projects such as the HP20 system shutdown, this commitment never wanes. The best proof of this is the honouring of our specialists Patrick Kellerer, Manuel Hübner under the leadership of Alexander Hilber for the successful realisation of a critical maintenance measure in June 2020 (see photo).
